Angela Aquereburu is founder and director of YoBo Studios, the audio-visual production company (originally Caring International), specialized in fiction based in Togo.

A Showrunner, TV Director, Script writer, TV host, actress and Producer – a rising figure in the audiovisual sector in French-speaking Africa. After practicing HR consulting for, Angela’s joined her husband to create and produce their first TV series called ZEM. A new format shot in HD, with an artistic editing, sound broadcast and that was a first at that time in French speaking countries.

As an objective of Yobo Studios is to provide original and exportable programmes and bring a different perspective regarding Africa, stressing the importance of audiovisual programming as a vital tool to transmit strong messages regarding health, ecology and democracy to the general public. Won the 1st prize in the Discopro Picthing Competition in Johannesburg for a TV series called Maraboo.

She produced for Canal + Afrique, the tv series MI-TEMPS. Côte Ouest the TV series HOSPITAL IT that won the best series award at Vues D’afrique Festival in Montreal and was selected at the French famous TV fiction festival in La Rochelle. Currently, Angela is shooting a new canal plus original series.
